Today I am sharing with you something I recently found and like so much I brought it home with me. I am a chronic browser. I literally say to my family “I am going out” and that is just a code phrase to say “I am going wandering” . I enjoy getting a shopping cart and perusing the aisles. I often end up with an empty cart, but not always. My favorite browse spots are some of our local shops…..Sweet Pineapple, Refuge and Golden Griffin. They are just adorable places of sweet finds. My wandering list also includes TJ Maxx, Homegoods, Marshalls, Target, Ross and Tuesday Morning.
I am committed this year to ordering less and buying more in my local stores. Of course those locally owned as a top priority, but it also makes a difference when we buy from even our local chain stores rather than ordering from them online. I am so disappointed that we have lost our local Pottery Barn and William Sonoma. Now I try to hit those stores when I go to Nashville where they both still exist or Birmingham where there is still a Pottery Barn. If you live in Alabama, you might be as shocked as I am to know the only William Sonoma that is still in our state is in Mobile. Hang on Mobile!!!! Keep shopping at your store.
In my latest wandering I found the prettiest wreath at Home Goods. I loved it when i first saw it, but because I am a model of self control….when you finish laughing please keep reading…..I looked over the whole store and then circled back to nab it. You know, just to be sure I really wanted it. As soon as I picked it up, another customer said “Oh that is so pretty” and just like that the deal was sealed.

It is really large and was $59.
See it almost covers the whole door

What do you think? Isn’t she pretty? I think Homegoods has such a nice selection of seasonal wreaths. If you are in need, definitely remember to check them out.
Just in case you don’t have as much wandering time as I do, I will be sure to keep you posted on what else I find.
See you back on Friday!
