Good Finds

Occasionally I have a day that I accidentally find some good deals. And you know I can’t wait to get to a computer to tell you all about them.

First up, Dillards! I often forget about them and they are not in my normal route, but I usually find something when I go

This necklace is part of the Southern Living line. It was marked $28. I didn’t want to pay that much but had the lady scan it and it was $2.87. Just a reminder to scan things. Stores rely on humans to do physical mark downs. Humans make errors…. always worth checking.
Dillards currently has a Southern Living Mahjong set and accessories. I scan it every time I go in the store. One of these days maybe I’ll catch it on sale too.

Costco has 50 yard rolls of ribbon

They have been $8 at times and $6 at other times, well yesterday they were $2.97. Yep, I may have snagged a few rolls. I mean seriously who could resist? Well the lady who was on the aisle with me resisted, but other than her – who could resist?

I made an ultra rare stop at Aldi. I have probably been in an Aldi less than 10 times in my whole life. The whole pay for the shopping cart and then turn the cart back in to get your quarter just isn’t my thing. So I just go, peruse, only buy what I can carry and exit. I should probably adopt this policy at other stores. I might save money. Well I went for tablecloths and that is all I bought

They had lots of summer patterns – red/white stripes, watermelons, ice cream cones and this floral that I chose. They also had three different sizes. The best part was they were $2.99. If you are having ANYTHING this summer, these will be fun.
