Okay, this is it…..I am not going to say anything else about this trip after today….unless you call and ask me and then, yes, I have a lot more to say.
First, we went to the famous Godmother’s Book Store
This is such a beautiful store with multiple floors and all kinds of cozy nooks.
My family was so patient and really let me enjoy the store and no one shamed me when I bought yet another book
It was quite fun!
The last dining experience I saved to tell you about today might just be the most luxurious dining I have ever done.
We went to San Ysidro Ranch
Our travel lady recommended we go an hour or so early and enjoy the property. And oh wowser.
It was lush and beautiful and just the prettiest thing you’ve ever seen
And there were lemons and limes as plentiful as leaves around here……just huge overflowing arbors and trees. There had to have been hundreds maybe even thousands of lemons
We got a great family picture
And then we sat down to a wonderful dinner
We had the dover fillet, the duck breast, a seafood stew and a great steak. It was all great. The fun thing is they prepare all the sauces tableside
Such a fun and elegant experience. If you are ever in the area, don’t miss this one.
Well that’s our trip except here’s a special shout out to this chick
She keeps a bag packed and is always up for whatever shenanigans we have going.
