You all already know that this is my favorite weekend of the year. I know. I know…..many of you dread it. And I understand, it gets darker earlier, its more challenging in the evenings to get things done before it gets dark and you feel like it is midnight at 7:30.
But I encourage you to make it a little celebration, sink into it and try to enjoy it. It is a great weekend to treat yourself and really savor that extra hour.
Here are a few things I am partaking in to enjoy the weekend more. Maybe you could indulge in one or two and just see how much you will enjoy the weekend too.

- Aura Cacia Lavender Shower Tablets – some CVS stores will carry, boutique grocery chains like Whole Foods or Sprouts normally carry also. And, of course, you can order from Amazon.
- Saturday night is always clean sheet night in my house. We always change all the linen on Saturday mornings. These sheets are always raved about. Main point, get yourself some nice clean comfy sheets for your extra hour of sleep.
- Target has some great pajamas. If you enjoy long pants and sleeves try these.
- However, if you are more of a short sleeve and short pant pajama lover these are equally soft and comfortable.
- I do love this book. If you haven’t read The Dutch House, this is a great extra hour read.
- Girls, if you are not treating your hands to a little TLC every night, make it your new routine. Of course, I am partial to this lavender one.
- Lastly, this may be my new favorite movie. It is based on a true story so you know I love that. It is emotional, beautiful and inspiring. Now be prepared the end is tough to watch. I wasn’t expecting it. But this is how someone’s real life played out and that ……well it is tough. If you like Steel Magnolias, Terms of Endearment, The Other Sister…..you will like this one too. Oh, what I did not put on the list is Kleenex. Make sure you grab those too. This movie is available on Amazon and included with Prime.
Have a wonderful weekend! I will see you back on Monday.
