Hope you have plans to do exactly what you want to do to celebrate Independence Day. I know some of you will be doing big gatherings of family and friends, cookouts, fireworks, or even having a much needed chill day. Whatever your plans are I wish you the best day!
We are going low key, with a llittle cooking out and a lot of chilling. But we do have a few things to get into the festive mood.
First, we made this wooden flag a couple of years ago and we pull it out every patriotic holiday.
Then we did a small tablescape.
We bought a blue and white striped wrapping paper and a red and white striped wrapping paper from the dollar section at our Michaels Store. We ran the blue and white the length of the table. Then cut a rectangle of the red and white to go in the center. We then added a mason jar filled with twizzlers, a cake stand with bakery cookies, a mason jar with babies breath, a bowl of patriotic heshey kisses and some patriotic plates.
Simple but we are into the holiday.
