Welcome to my bathroom……who gets to say that to their friends? Well I told you I am doing the Go Clean Co. cleaning methods through my house. I tackled the bathroom recently…..or it tackled me. I am not sure which. This cleaning is truly the best workout I have had in a long time. I tried to skinny down the pictures so we wouldn’t be here all day….so let’s get to it.
First here’s what I am working with
Typical his/her vanity area and a big garden tub that I think we have used 4 times in 8 years. So you know the drill the first thing we did was
Listen, I felt like stopping here. It already looks better. Amazing how much STUFF we can gather and not even realize it. But I didn’t stop there. I used all the @gocleanco methods and wiped every surface……yep walls, doors, hardware, scrubbed the floor on hands and knees….the whole nine yards.
Not everything made it back in, but anything that came back got a good wipe down too.
We got some lovely crystal decanters when we married. We have always used them for mouthwash and it is one of my favorite little touches.
Now I want you to take a gander at the before and after of my shower door
Y’all, seriously we do clean this door on a regular basis. I may have purchased every product on the market up to this point. @gocleanco tells you how to mix vinegar and dish soap for a can’t beat clean. Seriously, I was afraid we were going to hurt ourselves by walking right through the glass it is so clean now.
But next was my turning point and highlight. This is also where you question my cleanliness, but it is okay – I am secure in who I am and therefore can show you my shower head
It felt ridiculous to label the before and after……I think you can guess which is which. Now if that wasn’t enough check out the hand held sprayer
I KNOW!!!!!! This transformation was my absolute favorite. Now this was an overnight deal. They tell you how to secure a food storage bag of vinegar over the fixture and let it sit overnight. I could not wait to get up the next morning and see what happened. It did not disappoint. Dare I say the shower is much more enjoyable and I am sure it may be my imagination, but I think the water pressure is better 🙂
Well there you go…..my bathroom gunk in all its past glory and my new shiny surfaces in their new sparkle and shine.
