I love seeing all the school supplies in the stores. But I have to say I am a little shocked that summer is done. Around here kids head back to school NEXT WEEK…..wowser! Well last year we paused here on the blog to cover these kids and teachers as they return. I think we should make it annual thing. If you are so inclined would you join us and pray for this new school year. Here are a few prompts to help get the prayer juices flowing
- Teachers to see their students and be equipped to respond to individual needs
- Teachers to have the energy and resilience to push through each day
- Teachers to feel the importance of all the lives they touch
- Teachers to support each other and lift each other up
- Teachers to have enough parental support to make up for the disengaged parents
- Teachers to feel appreciated and valued
- Tentative and shy students to feel inexplicable comfort and peace
- Excellent student/teacher pairings
- Students to be able to obtain all the supplies they need
- Students that feel insecure would not feel the need to make other students insecure (bullying)
- Students to be kind to each other and their teachers
- Students to feel their potential and have hope for bright futures
- Safety for all in our school systems
If you are an educator or parent or just someone with good ideas, feel free to shout out any other areas we could collectively focus our prayers for the school year.
Have the best weekend.
