$50 Challenge

Let’s go to Marshalls with $50 and see what we can find. I debated should I do home stuff or fashion…..truthfully, I did both but I am showing you the fashion $50 spend today

But before I show you what I bought let me just say there are three things in my closet in oversupply – black pants, jeans and white shirts. Those are my go to’s. So truth be told I probably should not be buying any of those items. Now, how many of you think I had that much self-control. Okay, here’s what I bought

Now hold on, let me explain. That is a white shirt I already owned. I just wanted to put it in the photo to show you the complete outfit. But, yes, those are new jeans. But they are very light washed jeans. I tend toward dark wash because I think they read dressier. However, I felt like I needed this light jean for the summer. They are by Kensie and they are soft and stretchy and only $24.99. Here’s another reason I loved them, they are just cut off at the bottom. I couldn’t find them on line to link so check your store.

So I want them to be a little shorter and this will make it easy for me to just to cut them off and not have to worry about putting that denim hem back in them.

I spent the remainder of my money on this very cute purse

I loved the embroidery on this one and the beads. But it is a very impractical purse for every day use. I always tell myself that I will use it when I meet friends for lunch. I have a lot of little “meet friends for lunch” purses. Apparently, in my head I have a lot of hungry friends. But, come on, isn’t this a cute little run to lunch outfit.

Now, I would appreciate some lunch invitations. And if you could, remind me to bring my cute purse.
