How was your weekend?

I do hope you had a great weekend. We started with rain but ended with sunny skies. Before we go further though, let’s congratulate our book winners

Congrats, ladies. I will email you today about getting your book to you. I had the best time at the bookstores this weekend searching out books for you. In full disclosure, even after I had my selections made I wandered around the stores for a few more minutes. It is just nice to be in the presence of others who love books. Book people are friendly. I chatted with folks in both stores and had a great time.

To finish the weekend, I cleaned my garage and filled up a trash can. This always makes me happy. I do love a good clean blank space. I also got a new beauty product I am trying…..will report back on that soon. And I watched more basketball than any person should. Not on purpose, of course, but it seems to be the only thing on and the family apparently enjoys the games. I personally want to start a petition that they only play the best three of five. I think this whole best five of seven is overkill. If you can’t seal the deal in five games, should you really be in the finals? I also accidentally watched some of the NFL draft and then got totally invested because social media was buzzing with who went in what round. I have no idea who these people are but it is always fun to watch someone’s dreams come true. So all the best, guys! I hope you have great football careers. (someone better pass that along, I am 100 percent sure none of the draft picks are reading this blog).

Now I am ready for another week of making lists, not doing what is on them and welcoming in the month of May!
