Three cheers for Friday!!!
I hope you have great plans or even better no plans. Either way maybe you need some new television options. Here are the shows I have watched lately and what I thought of them

Girl on the Run – The Sarah Pender Story. Wow! I had never heard this story before but it was a doozie. Sarah is in prison for murder, escapes and that is where it all begins. She is able to persuade people into doing the most bizarre things for her. This is a true story and so you already know you couldn’t make this up. I enjoyed this one a lot.
Inside America’s Top Model…boy oh boy oh boy. I can remember my kids liking this show a lot. But the more seasons the stranger it got. This is the insider view. I am shocked that Tyra Banks even agreed to this. She does not come off looking very good in this. And don’t even get me started on the producers and directors. This show is one of those cases that you think wasn’t there one person…..just one who saw this going off the rails.
Rental Family was soooo good. It is based a true practice in Japan. People literally rent people to play parts. For instance, you are a single parent who needs to rent a dad for your daughter’s private school interview. Or you are marrying someone not approved of by your family so you rent a suitable person, fake marry them and then move away for good with your true love. I mean it is the premise of several American movies and shows, right? Pretend boyfriends going to the family holiday is a movie staple. Well Japan takes it a step further and makes it happen. Anyway, it is a very sweet and touching movie. I loved it.
Don’t even ask me how I ended up watching The Requin, except that it came up as suggested watching and definitely DID NOT have this photo of a shark with it. In fact, it said something about a couple taking a get away after facing tragedy. This was pure terror after terror with a little terror thrown in for good measure. Fortunately, I started it in the middle of the day. I could not have finished it if it were dark…..too scary.
Lastly, is a sweet little very clean story – The Five Date Rule. This is faith based movie and is just sweet and sappy and did I mention clean? The main character is given a dating app by her friends and then proceeds to meet a guy who has a five date rule. It’s a good little watch.
Hope you are well entertained and have the best weekend.
