Hello Friday! I hope you’ve had a great week and are geared up for a nice weekend. In case you have a low key one planned, here’s what I have watched lately

Be warned Trial by Fire is a doozy! It is based on a true store and it is full of tragedy. A young father is charged with murder after his three children are killed in a house fire. He makes contact with a run of the mill mom who takes an interest in his case. This one is hard to watch. There’s scene after scene of hard stuff. So if you need a good cry this one will deliver. If you are looking for light entertainment, this is not it.
Love Guaranteed is cute and light. A single guy engages with a dating app that guarantees love but he doesn’t find love. He hires a lawyer to make the app pay. It is sweet and predictable, but sometimes we need that.
I ran across Crazy on the Outside and gave it a go. Tim Allen plays a guy who is released from prison and trying to live clean. His past keeps trying to call him back while his sister tries to keep him on the straight and narrow. It has a few totally unnecessary scenes but they are fairly quick and the rest of the movie is good. I wouldn’t gather the kids for family movie night on this one though.
Speaking of not gathering the kids…..Running Point is all about the NBA. A family who manages a team has all kinds of crazy drama going on. This one definitely has scenes and lots of language. It is so disappointing because the plot is actually pretty good. But name a vice……they included it in this series.
Hmmmmm, I guess this turned out to be a warning post about entertainment…….if you are watching anything good be sure and let me know. Obviously I could use the help.
Have a great weekend!
