Happy Monday, everyone! I hope you had a wonderful weekend and are ready for a new week. I had a really lovely one, pretty low key which is just my speed.
But on Saturday we had a real treat. My husband took my mom and me to a Mother’s Day Brunch at 116 Noble. It is a boutique restaurant that hosts special supper clubs and events. The chef is a local, wonderfully trained and now running his own boutique restaurant. I love everything about this – supporting a hometown guy, great atmosphere, intimate dining experience, but most of all the food is superb.
It is a small space that is elegantly designed and decorated. The Chef gave us an overview of what he prepared and was very personable. It is a lot like dining with a close friend who happens to really be able to cook.
This particular brunch was a buffet so we had the opportunity to select what we wanted from a huge array of offerings.

I did a quick run around my plate to see what I loved and wanted to save for last. I couldn’t decide. It was ALL so good.
If you don’t follow them on Instagram, you should. They have a lot of great things upcoming. We are definitely going back. Hopefully we can make the next supper club.
The food was great. The experience even better. So glad we have this in our city to enjoy.
Wishing you a great week ahead!

I have never heard of this place. Where is it located?
Off the Parkway, I will send you more info
That looks delicious! Is that a blueberry french toast? My husband recently took me to a place here in town called “the standard.” It was so good!
Glad you and your mom had a lovely mother’s day.
We love The Standard too!
